2001 USDF/ASHAI All Breeds Awards

 

The Arabian Sport Horse Association, Inc., ASHAI, is proud to announce the recipients of the 2001 USDF All Breeds Awards sponsored by our association. We have followed the progress of many of the participating horses--including all in Fourth Level and Intermediare I--for years, often since they started competing at Training Level. We are especially pleased to note that three horses are owned by Charter ASHAI members, who are shown in Italics. One mare just starting out is the daughter of a mare who was very successful in our awards programs in the past. Our congratulations go to all the horses and owners, whether old or new friends. Please note that the determining score shown includes a median taken from both open shows and Arabian shows; in two cases members’ horses were shut out of these awards because while their open show median met the qualifying score, including scores from Arabian shows lowered the overall median. We mention this for the benefit of anyone who thinks that judges automatically score higher at Arabian shows.
